Before touching pixels, we mapped the biotech skincare buyer’s journey—derm‑clinic referrals, at‑home protocol searches, and social‑proof checkpoints. User interviews showed two pain points: application anxiety (uncertainty about needle depth/serum dosage) and trust gap (bio‑tech jargon). Competitive audits of beauty D2C sites revealed opportunity in integrated video protocols.
Ideation Development
Wireframes focused on a split “Shop / Learn” flow. We prototyped a protocol hub with step‑by‑step clips, AR try‑on for before/after skin tone, and micro‑quiz product matchers. Mood boards combined sterile lab whites with warm undertones to balance science and self‑care.
Visual Exploration
We brought the “lab luxe” aesthetic to life: soft gradient backdrops, crystalline droplet motifs, and looping micro‑animations illustrating peptide activation. Typography pairs a clean sans with a thin serif for ingredient call‑outs.
